Bio
Maria Trangelo joins Cypress Escrow as a Certified Senior Escrow Officer, bringing decades of expertise from her extensive career in the escrow industry. Starting in 1985 as an Escrow Assistant at City National Bank in Beverly Hills, Maria advanced to Escrow Officer under the mentorship of Billie Davis in 1987. She gained comprehensive experience in various types of escrows, including refinance and loan escrows, residential resale, 1031 exchanges, tenant relocation, commercial, industrial and more. Maria served as Director of Escrow Operations, Human Resources Administrator, Vice President, and Office Manager, all while managing a highly profitable and successful desk.
Maria has since worked at several nationally acclaimed Title and Escrow companies, where she excelled as a Certified Senior Escrow Officer, Managing Director and Branch Manager. Maria is the first Filipina American to become president of the Los Angeles Escrow Association, serving multiple terms from 2010 to 2023, and contributing significantly to the California Escrow Association and the Escrow Institute.
Outside of the office, Maria is an active supporter of numerous charities, including Autism Speaks, APLA, ASPCA, LA Midnight Mission, Make A Wish Foundation and American Suicide Prevention.
